A transition into urban life

All my life I have lived in the countryside on my family’s farm estate. I was thoroughly happy and content, helping father run everything and mother taking care of the house. I also have a little brother called Drew, but he is too small to work, even if he tries, but he mostly likes to be pampered by mother. I was born and raised in rural Louisiana, which has beautiful  landscapes of plains for miles on end. We had bright summers and rainy winters, and town life was lovely with our community being so tight knit. But father made some wrong investments, got in some legal problems, and we lost half our land. It turns out that father had had some issues with the Zen-Noh Grain Corporation, who have a plot next to ours, and in turn they filed a lawsuit demanding to take our home because they are filthy and rotten corporates.
